Comics

Bob Layton

Comic Industry Legend Bob Layton is a writer, artist and designer with over 5000 comics to his credit. Bob reinvented Iron Man in the late 70s, taking it from near-cancellation to one of Marvel’s all-time bestselling series. Bob is co-creator of Marvel’s War Machine, Scott Lang Ant Man, DC Comics’ The Huntress, and Mattel’s successful “Secret Wars” toy line. He launched the record-breaking comic series “X-Factor”. Bob was also instrumental in Valiant Comics’ meteoric success in the 90s.

Seb McKinnon

Seb McKinnon is a freelance illustrator and concept artist who is known for his work with Magic the Gathering since MTG Core 13. He is the head of Five Knights Productions where he directs films and videos. He recently launched a Kickstarter to fund his latest film project KIN Fables: The Stolen Child. On the side, he makes music under the name CLANN.

Mike Hawthorne

Mike Hawthorne is an Eisner and Harvey-nominated comic book artist who is best known for his gig as the lead artist on Marvel’s Deadpool. Hawthorne has also contributed to Amazing Spider-Man, All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Lord, G.I. JOE: Origins, Queen & Country, Conan: Road of Kings, and his own creator-owned book, Hysteria.

Fantasy/gaming art

Scott Murphy

Scott Murphy grew up in western Massachusetts meticulously copying his favorite characters from comic books and video games. Scott has most notably created work for Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering, illustrations for Paizo’s Pathfinder RPG, and various Fantasy Flight Games products. His work has been featured in Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, Imagine FX magazine, and Infected by Art.

Khoi Pham

Khoi Pham was introduced to the world of comics as one of Marvel’s Young Guns in 2004. He has worked for both Marvel and DC pencilling titles like Teen Titans, Iron Fist, Legion Son of X, Mighty Avengers, and X-Men Legacy. Khoi rarely appears at conventions, Gettysburg LincCon will be his only appearance this year!

Bob McLeod

Bob McLeod is best known for co-creating and illustrating The New Mutants for Marvel Comics. He has pencilled or inked all the major characters for Marvel and DC, including Spider-Man (most notably Kraven’s Last Hunt), The X-Men, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, GI Joe, Star Wars, The Hulk, Conan, and many more. Bob is the author and illustrator of the children's alphabet book, Superhero ABC. Bob taught art at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design for many years.

Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis is a Harvey Award winner for his creator-owned title High Moon. He has been an Illustrator and Storyteller for such properties as Iron Man, Green Lantern, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and The Walking Dead. He is the Founder/Chief Creative Officer of Bottled Lightning LLC, where he handles the creation of new itellectual properties. Scott is also the creator for High Moon, The Only Living BoyBox 13 and Dead Skies.

Kevin Porter

Kevin Porter is an actor, producer, and director for Bat in the Sun Productions. He is known as the fan's Dark Knight for his frequent appearances as Batman. Porter has appeared in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, N Word, Super Power Beat Down, and Ninjak Vs the Valiant Universe.

Intraventus

Intraventus is a self-taught, award-winning cosplayer, model and artist. She's been costuming and modeling for over 10 years and hopes to bring her experience to the next generation. She specializes in armor building with worbla and EVA foam. She is the queen of pink and cute things!

Cosplayer

Plexi Cosplay

Plexi Cosplay is a relative newcomer to cosplay having joined the hobby 2 years ago, but has quickly made a name for herself as the 2018 Baltimore Comic-Con Cosplay Contest Winner. She also placed First at Gettysburg LincCon’s Inaugural Cosplay Contest. She specializes in foamsmithing (creating armor from foam) and high contrast painting techniques.

Tyler Crook

Artist Tyler Crook is known for the gorgeous watercolor artwork he creates for titles like Witchfinder, Badblood, B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth, 6th Gun and Harrow County. Currently, he is working on Manor Black for Dark Horse Comics. Before breaking into comics, he created the artwork for sports video games.

Mark Wheatley

Mark Wheatley is an author, illustrator and graphic designer who holds the Eisner, Inkpot, Gem, Mucker, and Speakeasy awards. He has designed for Lady Gaga and created set pieces for The Black Eyed Peas. His graphic novel creations include EZ Street, Lone Justice,Mars, Breathtaker, Black Hood, Hammer of the Gods, Blood of the Innocent, Frankenstein Mobster, Skultar, Doctor Cthulittle, and Titanic Tales. Mark’s original artwork has been included in the Library of Congress's permanent collection.

John Gallagher

John Gallagher is the cartoonist, self-publisher, and award-winning designer of his online and printed graphic novel series Buzzboy. John speaks to young people at libraries and schools across the U.S. about the power and magic of sequential storytelling. He sits on the Advisory Board for Baltimore Comic-Con and is the co-founder of Kids Love Comics which promotes literacy through comics and graphic novels.

Ken Hunt is a self-taught professional comic book artist and logo designer for companies like DC Comics, Virus Comix, About Time Comics, AC Comics, Daystar Studios Entertainment, Cryptic Magazine, Jam Packed Productions, Fantagraphic Books, Carnal Comics, B-Brand Comix and more. He has served as Ediotr and Art Director for several publishers.

Marley Goudie

Marley Goudie - also known as themetalhiro - is a freelance illustrator, published author of a children’s book, and artist who got her start on social media. She has worked with a variety of companies including Klasse 14 and Spirit Halloween. Her work has been described as “colorful, elastic, and a bit like punk and pop had a hippy baby (in a good way).”

Jenna Ayoub

Jenna Ayoub is a comic artist and writer working with BOOM!Studios. She has worked on titles such as "The Amazing World of Gumball", "Steven Universe", "Adventure Time", and "Regular Show". Her illustrations have also been featured on the covers of “The Amazing World of Gumball” original graphic novels. She has an affinity for period pieces and character-driven stories.

Justin Jordan

Justin Jordan broke into comics with the Image series The Strange Talent of Luther Strode. Since no one threw him out, he has gone on to work for nearly every major comics publisher. He is currently writing Reaver for Image Comics and his recent works include The Family Trade, Death of Love, and Spread for Image, and Curse of Brimstone at DC.

Rafer Roberts

Rafer Roberts is a writer and artist who has been making comics for over two decades - balancing his creator-owned Plastic Farm and Nightmare the Rat and his mainstream work on A&A: The Adventures of Archer and Armstrong, Harbinger: Renegade, Modern Fantasy, and Grumble. His work on X-O Manowar #38 received two Harvey Award nominations for the Special Award for Humor in Comics and Best Cartoonist.
